Public Art Squad is based in a massive warehouse building in Rosebery, Sydney.
Custom designed to house David Humphries
and his creative outpourings.
The buildings two story high internal volume, has two-mezzanine levels with design studio / showrooms connected by a walkway galley overlooking the downstairs production studio.
Ground floor is a flexible open space, for production of templates, making of decorative components, exhibitions and presentations. It is also David's painting studio.
Drawings, templates and mosaics set out on
the studio floor can also be viewed from above.
Although the interior of this massive warehouse is crammed with an eclectic collection of paintings, mosaics, ceramics, sculptures and mobiles, yet strangely enough
the sense of space has not been compromised.
The studio is an inspiring facility, a beautiful place filled with, natural light, lush tropical trees, a spectacular pond of Japanese Koi and a Redtailed Black
Cockatoo who thinks he's 'boss cockie'
