Architect Peter Melocco 1997

The late Peter Melocco   pioneered  the terrazzo industry in Australia ,and from the 1940s was responsible for Sydney's terrazzo masterpieces,  including the crypt of St Marys Cathedral

His grandson, architect Peter Melocco, needless to say, understood and loved terrazzo. His keen interest had kept apace with the developments of contemporary terrazzo works
and as  the architect for his own developments has the freedom to express himself creatively as an architect,
He  knew all the works by David  Humphries and David's freeform abstraction with the medium interested him.  He commissioned David to collaborate with him on the two entrance foyers for his own residence.
