Kids Murals 2002

The murals were painted simultaneously in the two children's bedrooms over the Christmas holiday period.
There was close
consultation with, and excited input from, the children in developing their ideas and wishes for their bedroom murals.
The10 year old boy's sports interests were expressed in a madcap playing field of loonie
characters, whilst his 7 year old sister chose a more fanciful fairy theme.
Their daily involvement expanded and developed the murals stories and details, enhancing their pride in authorship.
The interaction
and entertainment derived from the experience was a delightful education for the whole family, as well as the artist team.
