The mosaic
memorial plaque commemorated the opening of the Hydro Therapy Centre
It was placed in the pavement at the entrance of the building
A decorative design set amidst pleasant gardens it alludes to the meditative
and uplifting feeling of a garden pond.
Bottom right. Lilly Pond Mosaic (3 m diameter) Hamilton 1991 this mosaic also explores the Lilly Pond theme.
Both mosaics were made in PAS studio from smulti glass mosaic tiles from Venice.
